lol… no conspiracy

I’m just fascinated, I can’t recall any other modern performance car released that we didn’t get real world benchmarks on nearly instantly.

when C&D or motor trend article?
This is one of the most hyped cars in Ford history… apparently I’m the only curious person

The cars have a break-in increments that unlock on the computer with mileage. 300 miles, 500 miles, and 1200 miles. They are waiting a car (and a willing owner) to reach the 1200 mile point before they can do a review. Its all in the video that was too long for you to watch. 😉

The programmed break in is what is preventing more performance tests from being conducted in my opinion. People who buy 300,000 cars buy them as investments. There are probably not a lot willing to quickly put 1,000 plus miles on this car. Most who have cars like that sell them many years later with less than 2,000 miles. I have a neighbor who has had a Hellcat for a few years… lot cheaper than $300,000. he drives it once a year for about 15 min around town. I’m sure he’ll sell it someday for much more than he paid for it…

I'm guessing the target market is more interested in lateral G than longitudinal.

Now as a petrolhead I don't get that. I want to drive my cars. If I didn't I'd buy a Nissan Juke.
