They do not have to come in any particular order, not these anyway. The 6.x.x ones will usually come in order, but the one you mentioned here can code scattered in between. Are the updates on the table done sequentially or they can be done in random order? For example I got ECG-24.2.4.9. Does this mean I had also 6.3.1 done previously without noticing?
I've come to the conclusion that the IT department at Ford programmed in a randomizer that causes the server to spit out updates in no particular order. They do not have to come in any particular order, not these anyway. The strategy is in the F188 location. 10.1.0 will it to -EC.I can’t wait for software update 10.1.0 which suppose to update the center screen and hopefully resolve the issues I have.
If I understand the info on this thread, the latest Sync 4, software version on my screen after update 10.1.0 will show 24127_PRODUCT. Right now I am still on 24058_PRODUCT.
Also, I assume with 10.1.0 the latest file that will update the sync 4, software version for my screen (APIM) is PU5T-14G682-NG.
Am I missing anything?
Well damn... that might have fixed the issue that I am having. Sync will randomly drop my phone from the wifi. The only way to reconnect it is to turn the wifi on the phone off, turn the bluetooth on the phone off and back on, and wait for Sync to reconnect to the phone. As of this morning in PTS, a new SSM was sent to dealers advising them that the APIM update to address several Sync and phone connectivity issues was pushed back from Q4 of 2024 to Q1 of 2025. Just FYI.
Was also waiting for this update...For me it works mostly fine, except that when using Android Auto, sometimes when a song finishes i loose sound . No way to recover unless i restart SYNC.Well damn... that might have fixed the issue that I am having. Sync will randomly drop my phone from the wifi. Same thing would happen to me, but this particular issue (with Android Auto at least) was GREATLY improved with the 10.1.0 update in my truck. Was also waiting for this update...For me it works mostly fine, except that when using Android Auto, sometimes when a song finishes i loose sound . Car audio (Radio/Sirius) works fine, just no sound coming from apps on Android Auto...
I recieved this update in early October as well. Are there any other updates I should be getting soon ?
That was the last one that I received but @rugedraw can certainly add more to that question.I recieved this update in early October as well. Are there any other updates I should be getting soon ?
10.1.1 is the most recent update that has been released for these cars. This does not mean there is nothing pending an update on a vehicle, but it is the latest one that has been reported by anyone in this community.I recieved this update in early October as well.
