You did a really good job too and is probably the closest representation of the new panel angle. Not only will the tail light panel adopt a more aggressive angle, the rear corners will be sharper to match the front. However, due to new bumper technology, the collision structure in the front should also save some space in the rear if it is used. The need for an aggressive curve across the entire rear will be replaced with a compact extension, like the front grill surround. The idea is regain some visibility I guess.

You should be photoshopping more often as well…

The S650 will likely share this “bumper-box” design as well although I do believe your panel angle and depth is probably 90% there.

Highend models will always come very late in the model cyclus. If Gen 7 is planned to run until 2028, don't expect a new GT500 until 2026.

Edit your post to clarify that you were talking about the GT350 then.

Still doesn't make sense, because the GT350 (technically) came out the same model year as the other S550 Mustangs. Yes, I know that they weren't generally available until 16MY.

What I meant was that with the GT350 it replaced having an GT500 early. Every carmaker is doing the same thing that they launch with the base models and over time add the performance variants later. Audi always released the base models, then the S and then the RS. VW already releases the GTI and then the R model later. Ford europe also always releases the ST and then the RS models way later than the base models.
So I'm pretty sure we will see a GT350, Mach 1 or things like that within the first few model years, but GT500 will be coming in the late model years

I was thinking more about the overall shape of the rear, not so much the emblem itself. I wonder if Ford might give the S650 some similar styling cues to the Mach E, perhaps even similar taillights or something.
