In 1976 Mustang use the "stallion" image as a secondary options package that was mostly cosmetic in nature. It didn't sell well with the general public.

Think I Remember Jimmy saying he had a new Ford Truck a while ago. Not sure.

Looking at the Rear Glass, can’t quite make out the S550 Upper Brake Light. This would possibly mean a thinner LED Strip, or a new piece of Glass. I hope it’s the Glass. No matter how much it costs to redesign and manufacture New Glass, if they’re really concerned with Quality, they need to spend the Millions on a New Part. They can’t expect to go another 6 to 8 years with the Ill-Formed Piece Of Crap that’s been on there from the Beginning.

The Rear Quarter Panel does seem to have a Sharper Z Crease than the S550, which would make sense to have New Quarter Windows and Cutoff Rear. Otherwise, it’s just a Larger Stamping Hole for the New Quarter Glass which shouldn’t require much of a Mod in the existing Interior and Exterior Tooling.

A connected Z Crease would finally make it easier to do a Two-Tone Paint Job!

Don’t forget too that Jimmy and Farley’s cousin Chris were friends and SNL mates back in the day. So that’s probably more Jim doing a solid for one of his cousin’s buddies than anything. Probably should’ve been an enthusiast like Leno or someone like that but I’m sure Leno will have one on his show soon enough.

Make some Glass that Matches the Roof Contour!

Make some Glass so that when you look at the Reflection of the High Mount Brake Light, the Edges Look Parallel. Not The Left Side Thicker than the Right, or vice-versa. So there is no Window Drop in the Upper Left or Upper Right Corners. That the Curvature of the Top Edge of the Glass Matches the Curvature of the Roof!
