Nevermind them Burka Babes.

Around here it's my fellow Boomers and/or distracted drivers of many and varied demographics!
We have a large "For Profit" assisted living facility in our village. That allows "some of them" to drive! 🤔 Ssssoooo they can't cut it on their own in an apartment (without an assist) but that DOESN'T preclude them being allowed to drive a multi-ton vehicle in traffic without full time direct supervision possessing an over ride capability! 🤪

Then there are the HORDES of eating, drinking, phoning, smacking the kid/s so & sos ................................
You know who I'm talkin' about. 😉
A kurwa bobr, eating pierogi and listening to disco polo behind the wheel is not smart.

Any influx of relatively untrained drivers, not accustomed to the North American rules of the road are going to gum up the works. DC, MD, VA represent really well in this category.

Well, SHYEAH! Because all NC drivers harbor deep seated beliefs that they’re actually Dale Earnhardt. I’ve driven in 31(?) states and without question, I dread NC the most.
That and their speed limits are only 65, their po po have Mustangs, and they are always ruthlessly active. No, not a good state to drive through.

There are idiots in every state….lol. Yeah some more than others.

I find the time of day is a big factor. If I run errands, heading out about 2:00 is the sweet spot. Lunch traffic is over, but still about 2.5 hours before Evening Rush Hour. Traffic is light.

I try not to run up the road into town on weekends….most everybody has their head up their ass then. It’s like no one knows where they are going but are in a rush to get there, driving like they are the only one on the road.

I have enough rural areas to run on weekends, if I want to drive the GT, which is all the time…lol. I really friggin love this car! Even though I loved my 06 GT, I thought I got bored with driving as fun all to it’s own. Turns out I just got bored with the car itself. I guess that happens driving the same car for 18 years….lol.

I don't know whether to be offended or whack you on the nose with a rolled up newspaper.
My experience in driver testing was that the over 70's had better pass rates on their elderly driver tests than the new drivers.
The real problem with the elderly is cognitive decline. Ours have to be medically examined before they can renew their licences.
Now go into your kennel and think about what you said 😁
Amen. I'm 81, and I'm appalled that even though I've had no accidents for decades, the state of Arizona renewed my license by mail with no examination. I would gladly take an exam along with everyone in my age bracket.

Ha. Just renewed mine online too. Eight more years and they didn't even make me come in for a new picture. You got me beat by 3 decades though.

My Dad bought a GT at 85. No big deal in my family. Too many people with a much lower age number think that's the age number to know it all. It isn't.
