This is where mine was, and to update, it is still at the min mark when cold since I topped it off.
So, this is looking more and more like it's because it's not burped at the factory.
Regarding ambient lighting, cluster colors, etc. - (as posted elsewhere) -
The memory buttons on the driver's door store those in addition to the seat position, at least they do on my 2024. When an update reset all that, just pressing "1" brought it all back.
I just went through a "slightly low coolant when cold" situation on my 2024 GT in the last month. The car was manufactured in Feb 2024 and bought in May 2024.
In mid-November 2025 I noticed it for the first time; don't know how long it was like that, as I may not have checked it when completely...
Decades in Chicago teaches you that, or at least some people. Also, starting a 4-speed automatic in 2nd gear helped. Only bad problems I had were snow too deep, and one time a small icy hill in town when the cops were spacing out drivers to get a running start up and over and then keep going on...
Got the notice today, scheduled the work for Thursday Oct 23.
They checked for evidence of a leak when I had it in for oil/filter/etc., but that was before last weekend's rain. You could go a long time around here without getting the car wet except for washing it.
2024 with automatic:
Retired from 70 years in the Chicago area to southern AZ 10 years ago, so I have slippery condition driving without benefit of special modes baked into my brain. This weekend, we had enough rain to make Slippery Mode useful. On a routine errand, I was stopped at an oily...
Splitting hairs about the answers seems nuts to me. The original post was aimed at performance mods, and "no performance mods, only cosmetic" is a legit answer to that question as far as I'm concerned.
Me too! Trickle charger allowed it to complete.
Details: Dealer charged the battery, installed updates, but one update was still pending when I got home and wouldn't complete. I then got the trickle charger, which solved the problem.
Thanks for this!
Two things:
1) I felt like seat cooling/heating switches automatically, but maybe not. Heating is needed so seldom here in southern AZ, I may have turned it on manually by accident while adjusting temperature.
2) The manual - ptooey! Example: The illustration of the windshield...
I checked. My OLM did not reset after the software update.
First oil change was at 3300 miles and 10 months, prompted by the OLM dropping to ~20%. Currently 5k miles and 16 months (+1700 mi, +6 mo) and OLM reads 51%.
Edit: corrected the miles since last change to +1700. Oops.
What causes a whining noise under the hood for a few seconds when you first open the door and the car wakes up? Seems completely normal, has done it since I got the car, just wondering what it is. (2024 GT premium coupe, built in Feb 24)
It saves lighting color preferences also. Just had my colors reset due to an update, pressed 1 and my preferred color scheme was restored (2024 GT deluxe built in Feb 24).
