I circled back and updated the OP for my "Road Trip Kit".

We will see if this trip even happens; July is still a long ways a way and border crossing might become more challenging. Even our event organizer has shifted verbiage from "I'm for sure going back next year" to "I hope I can go back next year".

What happened?

It was scrubbed a week before launch (for me). It was a combination of the below...

- I had a family member pass away and had to handle much of the estate stuff on behalf of my father. I could have done that remotely however the below reason also came into play.

- The ongoing tensions between administrations really started to ramp up around this time and made it such that I didn't feel comfortable bringing a vehicle of value across the border.

I had forgotten about the tensions. Rest assured, we Americans love our neighbors to the North despite the rhetoric occasionally spewed by some people. You really shouldn't have any problems coming over or getting back home, eh?
