Well drove around 2k miles on a vacation from VA to NY and back in the new '25, and I had lots of fun doing it! Start of trip was around 1600 miles on the car.
Had lots of people compliment me on the car and tell me stories.
One old guy had a souped up old Dodge back in the day and a state trooper friend that clocked him at 170 on a stretch of road back in the day was one of the craziest ones.

Only were two issues and a surprise.
The first being a dash icon for the Pre-Collision Assist light that came on early on which I think simply got dirty or had debris on it. Did that for about 10-15 minutes and never saw it again.
Second was starting it cold for the day and heard a tick near front of the engine. Haven't heard it again. Reminded me of the Hemi tick in those engines.

Surprise was driving in Sports Mode down a steep mountain grade and slowing in the automatic. Oh man did she downshift and rev each time...sounded and felt beautiful.😂

Drove in a blinding/heavy rain and it held the road just fine stock tires. Very pleased about that.
Even hours in around 96 degree heat drivng the temps were around 188-195.
Best mpg I could get was around 24.

One of the best cars I've ever driven, and find myself making excuses to get into it to drive it more.

@DarkkMatter ...... great overview of your trip. Regarding that tick - likely just a one-off random. That said, I respectfully advise the following for your oil changes to avoid the 'Mustang Tick" - today I did an oil change (#4) on my 2024 GT - the tech did what they have done for the last 3 oil changes. She put oil in the filter several times while conducting the change to let it saturate the oil filter then filled it before installing it. I tipped her (before she started) for her effort (like I have done with all the techs) just out of respect. Started it up and like for the last 8500 miles NO tick (knock on wood). I have been beside several 2024 Mustangs that have the tick and it is REALLY annoying. IMO the best way to avoid that sick sounding tick is to use Ford FULL synthetic and FORD oil filter - PRE-FILL your oil filter and change it often. BTW the Ford dealerships where I live appear to have made arrangements with a company that offers a variety of oil additives and flushes. IMO stay 100% away from any of that crap. Ford has been building racing engines since the 60s they know what their engines need.

One hundred seventy? I wonder! For a couple of years, I drove a police-spec 1973 Plymouth Fury III equipped with a 440 four barrel. Flat out the top speed was just shy of 140, with 3:38 gears if my memory is correct. Anything over that would be a stretch in my opinion.
