Oh man I love discovering new features! This is awesome!

Wait….…that’s how you switch from heated to ventilated seats?!? 😳

I just looked in the manual, and nowhere does it say you can do that. Wow the manual BLOWS! 🤬

Thanks for discovering all this! How did you know about swiping the seat icon to change from heated to ventilated? Was it in the manual and I missed it?

No…I did not. OK now my mind is blown…. 🤯 Wow the manual sucks!

I set SXM to every possible station I would like, and they constantly play every song I have heard 1,000 times. Just yesterday, they had the nerve to play Thorogood’s Bad to the Bone….my wife and I looked at each other and said at the same time “Anything but George Thorogood”. sure he was OK at the time, but FM radio beat his songs to death.

I get way more enjoyment playing my massive playlist off my phone. Songs XM would never play.

I think the only reason I still sub to SXM is I’d hate looking at the blank channe

OK criticism aside, that’s a great deal! Paid for itself years ago!

I'll have to try the 3 screen view, but I will probably stick with what I have. Thanks!

I bought a lifetime subscription to XM radio in 2007 for $500 and transferred it twice to new cars, so I am happy with my value! I don't pay for or want unlimited cell data so this is great for me in and out of the car.
That was a great deal. My deal with Sirius was $89.00 including taxes and fees, and won't go up. I've had it for 4 years, and I'm happy! But I would be happier with your deal, Glenn.

You can expand your Apple CarPlay map to take up the whole screen. That will eliminate the Sync nav
That's what I do because I don't want any distractions if I'm driving in an unfamiliar location. If I want to know the name of the song currently playing it is displayed on the drivers screen or is only a button push away in Apple CarPlay. Glenn

I’m having a little trouble following your question. You should be able to press and hold any favorite channel to add the current station you are listening to in it’s place. I overwrote mine With another channel.

As far as I know, you can’t delete a favorite, only overwrite it. But you can also go into the options screen to add more favorites pages.
Hi.
Correct. The problem I am having is the Sirius channel 1 (advertising) doesn't show on the favorites screen so I am unable to overwrite it. However when I use the steering wheel controls to cycle through favorites, it plays. It's weird.

I don't have sirius in the mustang but i have it in my truck. I can get any nascar race or nfl game with it. It seems to be more reliable than using my phone with intermittent dead zones while travelling

Always so many things to learn. Android Auto allows more display windows and formatting than does Apple CarPlay. I did learn more about CarPlay through this exercise. Thanks to all for the discussion, especially @AZ_Ryan for posting the pics that showed me the difference!

OK….ummm.

I’d have to try cycling through favorites with the steering wheel and see if mine does it.

Some things to try….

Click on Channel 1 and see if it has a star lit indicating it’s added as a favorite. If so try touching the star to see if it removes it as a favorite. (A long shot)

Cycle through every favorites page and see if it’s hiding in there as a favorite.

see if you can set favorite pages to zero and start over? Not sure if that’s possible, but that’s all I got.

Wow! I don’t have such a button. You seem to have much more flexibility with displays than do I. Are you Android? If do, perhaps that’s the difference.
Interesting. It never occurred to me that was an Android thing. Surely Apple has something similar?

I thought the car’s display software was independent of any source or app.

I thought wrong? Lol….Wouldn’t be surprised…..I usually do. 🙃

Apple CarPlay is outstanding in performance and overall. But it does not allow format changes like Android.

I'll give that a try. I have favorite pages set to "4" and I also notice that when cycling using the steering wheel buttons it only cycles page one and never jumps to the next pages.

Seems like something is hosed up with my Sync system.

Yeah there's definitely something up there because I can scroll through all pages on the steering wheel no issue. FM, XM, doesn't matter.

It makes sense now that I think about it. The 3 window display is only when I'm using Android Auto. I just use it 99% of the time so never realized it was an Android thing.

Do you have any favorites set on those pages? I think they don't show if they don't contain any favs.

Quick press of the steering wheel button selects favorites, long press enables scan of available frequencies
