Mine is part of the recall. Go figure.

Guess I'll ask them in March to correct this when they fix the windshield washer jets too...

Its only set thats easy to get to. I think it was under an area to right of engine attached to the fender. Others must be covered up.

Im glad yours looks good but is this something that can be determined by looking. Is there a visual indicator that it might be fraying or cracking? Man I'm just spinning about this stuff. All these recalls are giving me a headache. ‍.

I would guess lemon law. They get x number of tries to fix it, then they have to buy it back. I would also guess he was one of the first with the problem, which is why they had no idea how to fix it.

I already had the driveline clunking, so far that seems to be ok. Still have paint defects to deal with and that is not gonna be easy, still have now 2 recalls to address, take your pick. I said I'm thinking about this stuff. If I can dial my car in then? Point is i wish I didn't have to go through this crap with a dream car that I bought in my 50s.
