Tail of the Dragon drive with 24 Mustang GT

I was fortunate enough to drive the Cherohala Skyway and Tail of the Dragon this week! I attached the highlighted route I took this past Monday. I’d highly suggest the yellow route. The orange route is an andditional route, but I wouldn’t suggest spending time on the orange route. Cherohala Skyway was my favorite and the Tail of the Dragon is a road that’s fun to say you did. I drove the dragon 3 times and got my fill in. Well worth the trip if anyone is close enough. If I have time this week, I will drive the Devil’s Triangle route to experience that. I attached a few of the photos that were taken while driving the dragon.

Tail of the dragon was fun in my Explorer ST last year when I drove to Asheville to do the ST experience. Need to get back down there with the Mustang. Thanks for sharing the additional routes as well.

No problem! If you go to the tail of the dragon website they have several maps of routes you can take.

Yea, couple of dozen trips through the Dragon, you get your fill and each time gets riskier. Think I enjoyed the Cherohala Skyway better, more openness...
