I just reached my 1,000 mile break-in last week and took the car into the dealer for the first oil change and to see if they could find what is causing the dull squeak under deceleration that had developed. This is the first brand new car that I ever bought for myself and I absolutely LOVE the DH, so this was pretty disappointing. Really glad I didn't spend twice as much to buy a DHSC now.
Anyway, I wanted to document this for anyone else that might have this issue. In the thread below, it's described as a clunk, but mine is what I would best describe as a dull squeak under deceleration and you can feel a small jolt in the steering wheel when the noise occurs. Maybe it becomes more of a clunk if left to linger? It's especially noticeable if I get the car up to about 45 mph then let it coast to slow down and it will happen somewhere between about 35-25 mph mark. Often right about 25 mph. But it will also happen when slowing down using the brakes. It's really bothered me lately and makes the car feel cheap, and it happens every time when slowing down. The dealer just told me they are replacing the transmission output flange today. Hopefully that fixes it.
