Without the right to repair the deere john letter forces you to purchase and use only factory air filters (technicalities considered), it’s only a regulation away.

yes, right to repair and epa overreach intersect but at which point does grandfather override and then exactly why. (Shoot too many analogies for yungin’s ).

If you gonna make me use a carbon filter but i can’t purchase one then i am locked into a violation upon failure of said device. Does the ‘carbon filter’ have a yearly emission test or just the tailpipe, which with a customer revision may actually be ‘cleaner’ than was originally delivered from the factory (see efficiency usually increases - newer part potentially cleaner more advanced tuning (not re timing but take it as you will) better results) but if am prevented from improving upon a failed design (otherwise why does it need repair) i don’t really own it.

we oversee the quality of the repair as owners and or diyers i dont want anyone inspecting my cars their mine.

seen the inspection guys in ny hitting the cats with hammers to "make sure they are not gutted"
i left luckily it was not my car they do more damage than good.
my inspection stickers now come from Facebook market place

We obviously have very different systems in our respective countries. What I've seen owners and DIY'ers do makes me very happy we have a thorough inspection system.

Majority download automatically when you start the engine. But if theres an issue while working, you’re not allowed to dl it yourself. It’s only about nickel and dimeing.
