Stock tires/wheels in place. System re-aligned. Problem solved. Adaptive & normal cruise control working. Dealer was awesome. Only charged labor for exchanging wheels. Since I had a replace CCM code, warranty covered the rest -$1,000. Now I’ll probably change the front tires on the Ferrada wheels to 275/30ZR20 since they are nearly the same diameter as stock.
Very interesting. I thought for sure this would not cure it.

Thank you for following up with us on the status.

Funny thing. I spent months gathering info before I changed tires/wheels. Read the Forum entries. Looked at numerous wheel makers products. Actually drew wheel & tire dimensions to scale on paper. Saw nothing like this problem anywhere. And, I still bought the wrong setup. No more mods for me. I’m just going to drive it & enjoy it like the Ford engineers planned. Damn computers.

But it took how long for the quick abacus to calculate the confusion? I’d be tempted to put the bigger wheels back on just to confirm, at least you know the ‘fix’

That’s the part that doesn’t fit. It took 4,000 miles before I had a problem. Why not right away? Why isn’t anyone else having this problem? I’m just happy to have it back right again.

Probably because you were right on the edge of the ride hight being a problem for the camera. Who knows what calibrations are needed and when for that thing.

You confirmed the fix by switching wheel diameter. This was a good education. Thanks for posting.

Last week I had my MY24 windshield replaced. My glass guy contracts out to have the camera recalibrated which requires a short drive. The guy calibrates for all the smaller glass installers as the equipment is 6k$ and most don't want to spend or maintain the equipment. All the calibration is documented and filed. This is a CYA the government requires. The guy said Ford is the simplest system and forgiving. BMW and Mercedes are the most complex.

Did you use your insurance or part of Ford's "Triplecare" plan?
