My quote was 3K for partial and ceramic. Prep included. 6K for the whole thing.

I also had a quote for $6-7k for the entire car (using Xpel) plus paint correction at a shop in Gainesville, GA. Hence why I went with Anchor Room PPF. Of note the Anchor Room PPF is only 6 mil vs the 10 mil Skye has. So far I've been happy with it on my weekend warrior, but you may desire a thicker PPF.

I had the front done from the rear of the vent forward, and the bumper along the boot (trunk) opening. I thought the rocker plastics would protect the rear guards.
It cost $NZ1200, and it was a custom fitting not precut PPF.
Seems to be fine so far.

I did full, I knew if I did front I'd wish I did the whole thing later down the line. My trunk lid is the only naked part because it has a paint bubble I hoped Ford would fix under warranty but they denied and ghosted me twice now. I use a foam cannon and all the fancy detailing stuff and the trunk lid is totally covered in scratches. Rest of the car looks like it was freshly paint corrected.

Full PPF. I've never seen a modern car with such absolute garbage paint.

Just don't do partial panels, ie half the hood, half the quartet panel. Over time that edge will become pronounced and very obvious. Also, the paint will fade a different rate, so if/when you need to replace/remove it, you have a very defined appearance difference.

Always do full panels if not having the entire vehicle covered with PPF.

Too late. But the last car still looked fine after 4 years, it was hard to see where the PPF started. 🤞
