Looks like Roush has taken a page from Steeda’s playbook 🤮

Yeah, I think there’s already a thread pointing this out. They’re nice looking, I suppose, but the price seems extreme.

They are asking way too much. I can see if it was priced at $350 or less.

Ok for comparison: two Steeda filters will run you $136 for both.Thats $414.00 for two plastic tops that prolly cost on the high end $25 for both.
For a little project I’m going to take a ride to Lowe’s buy some plexiglass and cut out a window in my stock covers trim out a piece of plexiglass to fit and JB glue the plexiglass into the inside and under the stock airbox lid effectively making the same thing for the price of a piece plexiglass $11.00 (and I have left over) I will post pics when done

Waste of money for such small gains

<raises hand> Why? Picture you see show pristine air filters and clean plexiglass. How long do you think it stays that way? They will be dirty, dusty, full of debris in hours. Then you just manufactured another upkeep item.

I was surprised when I saw the Roush offering. At least Steeda changed the intake with a sleek looking connection from the airbox to the throttle bodies. Roush just changed the top of the lid and left the stock connection to the throttle bodies.

I'd do that too (the DIY project), but the windows would be to stressful for me as I start crying every time I see all the dead flies in my filter folds. 😉

PS: Looking forward to the pics! 👍

I haven't seen any cold air intake for the 2024 cars that are worth it. I'm just going to get high flow filters (not k&n) and be done with it.

Just for the fun of it (I'm retired lots of time) and if I F' it up new tops are cheap from Mother Ford :like:
