Did anyone else have the Sync 10.1.0 Update completely break their interior lighting? The interior lights are gone, the menu for colour customization and ambient light level is gone, and all the icons on the screen that change colour to match are completely black, they function but I can only activate them by memory cause they are hard to see. How would I even fix this issue?

Maybe a sync reset would do it? I donā€™t remember the version, but the last update I got was late October and it darn sure broke my custom colors - but then, so does a FORSCAN module update.

Try the sync reset and see if you can avoid a service department visit. Iā€™d take a video with your phone just to be sure, so in case you do have to take it in, you can show them what is happening and what you tried.

So good news is I went and got a haircut and the car sitting for long enough seems to have reset it.

Bad news is basically every driver aid system has now been disabled. No traction control, electronic stability control, anti lock brakes, no blind spot or cross traffic alert, no drive modes, no hill start assist and no parking brake. I'm guessing one of the brakes got stuck or something and tripped the whole computer out cause I have a bunch of ABS sensor faults in my Fordpass too. It's times like this I wish I had Forscan setup so I could just clear the code. Dealership is saying they can't see me until Wednesday šŸ™„. This is like the 3rd time I've been in to see them over the stupidest little things. It's a good thing the service team at my dealer is pretty good because at this rate I'd better start renting a room here. Nothing but issues

Curious as to how this ended up working out for you. Was the dealer able to fix it?
