I just bought a '25 GT500. It has the 400 option package, but it doesn't have satellite radio. :frown:

So what's the best way to get this? Buy proper electronics from a Ford dealer and have him install it? Go to a car stereo store and try to find an acceptable upgrade? Maybe access a Sirius App on my iPhone?

Additionally, it doesn't have the Nav package. I'd like to have it, but this may not be very important since I can easily access the Google map on my iPhone.

I'd want the satellite option to work just as it would if the car came with it.

You'll have to excuse me now while I go kick myself for not realizing this before I bought. I've not run into a quality car that wasn't equipped with Sirius!

While it's no replacement for build-in SiriusXM, whenever I drive vehicles that I don't own that don't have SiriusXM, I use the SiriusXM app on my phone and connect it to the vehicle via Bluetooth / AA. If you have a SiriusXM subscription for another vehicle, you can stream on the phone or computer app at no additional cost.

I presume you mean a GT. Bout you do have a problem if you actually have a premium / 400A group. This car comes with satellite radio. So exactly what do you have?

I'm with roadpilot here, a BT connection to the XM app is the way to go if you have an unlimited data plan. You can also use literally any other music app you like.

Here's another option, but you'll have to install it and you might not love the look of the "XM wart" as it needs it's own antenna.

Other than incurring a subscription what’s the benefit?

Can't help you on that but, the absolute worst thing my awesome DH is equipped with is satellite radio. If there was any way to rip it out and blow it up with explosives I would be all over it.
