Well, if it's shed the camouflage for a filming day, then I guess an announcement is imminent. I'd say this basically confirms a subsequent MY27 release as well.

That color looks a lot like Blue Ember does under very direct sunlight. I guess they've decided to offer it on the DHSC next year.

Silver brake calipers is an interesting color choice. Those are clearly SC brakes, and not taken off of a GT, so I wonder what caused Ford to decide to offer silver.

Probably also worth mentioning that the seats look like they're Space Gray, so we'll probably see more than just the black/whatever stitch color and red as seat color options as well.

Also, maybe it's just me misremembering, but I'd swear this is sitting higher than an SC does normally.

I thought the same thing when I found it on reddit, I ran it through a bunch of different AI detection website and all of them came back between 97-100% Not AI.

I don't know, we have similiar sightings of GT500 convertibles that turned out the be some very dedicated custom mods. It looks real, but to my understanding the S550/S650 platform was not compatible to withstand the power a GT500 or DHSC. It would be strange if Ford has decided to make changes to the platform for that now.

But seeing a $100k car with that oldass ugly antenna is definitely something Ford would do

For everyone believing dealers telling them that these are gonna be hard to get like GT500 and they're only making so many of them there's a contract with the Union abilities engines through 2028 and they wouldn't be spending time developing and selling a convertible unless they could do it in volume to make it worth the engineering costs. They would only concentrate on the coops that can tell you that they're gonna make as many of these things as they want and their incoming unsold as we speak, even though dealers are trying to sell them over a sticker that's not gonna work a year from now there's gonna be leftovers on the ground. You gotta remember this cause more than $20,000 more comparably equipped to a GT500 and interest rates when that car was out with two or 3% now there's 6-7% and go on higher. And it's not a Shelby registered car. There's only so many people with that much money out there willing to buy a Mustang. I mean when you load it up you're in a Porsche GTS territory and if you buy a Porsche GTS in three years it's gonna be worth what you paid for it New just saying I mean even a Corvette ZR one you know they're like oh you're never gonna be able to get one they're never gonna be that available and in two years there's gonna be leftovers on the ground like every other American car so if you want one of these and the dealers are playing games just wait you'll be able to buy one at the discount 2026 is gonna be a short year and then they're gonna start building 2027
