Factory HP ratings are always engine only…so therefore a chassis dyno will always read lower. Every car of every brand will have drivetrain loss. 10-15% drivetrain loss is a typical ballpark figure.

The $800 each doesn’t cover the dealer “franchise fee” that the dealer had to pay to sell the Shelby cars either. I know my local dealer did it but I remember him skipping the Shelby line for a couple of years because he thought the franchise fee was BS.

I had an AFE CAI on my wife’s previous car (Alfa Romeo Giulia) and it was a pretty bad design that kept triggering CELs. Went back to stock and the CELs went away. Ended up having to return it.
