Loose rear fender flare

See the video below, my passenger side rear fender flare won’t stay clipped into position, has anyone resolved this? I showed it to the dealer when I was getting my last oil service but they said it’s normal (they compared against two other mustangs that were in the shop at the time and both did the same). Whilst I am positive that it is not supposed to do this, arguing with the dealership rather than just making an easy fix, is not worth the hassle.

Anyone else suffering from this what did you use to hold it in place? As you can see from the video the slightest touch dislodges it, so the first bump on the road will do so every time.

Well yea but any recommendation for which is safe to use on car paint/PPF?

3M makes a double-sided tape designed for automotive use. And in fact, it is used by Ford et. al. for holding on emblems and trim pieces. Look below for the correct width. Just make sure the surfaces are clean and oil-free.

+1 on the 3M tape recommendation, it's good stuff. Holds up in the heat and cold.

I guess I need to look and see whether mine has one that does this.

So it’s a design choice by Ford then, must be an adaptive aero feature

I think some of them just have a bit sharper curve than others... a guy could probably take it off and use a heat gun and straighten it out a bit.
