I don't need 1000km. I want 500 miles and a reasonable charge time on that vehicle from 20 to 80 percent charge

in other words, I would like to drive 300 highway miles, then charge in 30 minutes or so

do that, and I am an EV user

5-15 minutes for that 300 mile charge would be even better

The EPA limits gas station pumps to no more than 10 gpm. The average gas station pump is between 5 and 10 gpm.

1 Gallon of Gas = 114,000 BTUs

Dc fast charger: 50 - 350 kW

1 kW = 3412.142 BTU/hr

Estimated Electric Range per Hour of Charging: 180 - 240 miles

Estimated BEV Charge Time from Empty: 20 minutes - 1 hour

There are no magic batteries. Never have been never will be physics is a bitch just like your ex. If you remove all the tax credits and subsidies this whole thing would have been relegated to the annals of automotive history as it has been every time its been tried. By the way they can no longer force ev mandates due to Loper Bright Enterprises v. Raimondo which effectively newters government agencies ability to make laws from the desk called chevron defference.
