Anyone that appreciates hardware is going to love the cantilevered rear suspension (with Multimatic dampers), CF driveshaft, Tremec DCT transaxle, and supposed front SLA. It was shown at the small get together the other day and you'll see it all shortly.

Yup. This is most likely the street legal gt3, hence the name "gtd"

Unfortunately there will be no C8 competitor. We get this GTE /GT3 street legal version for $250k+ and maybe there will be a mid-engine GT successor. However, since the GT was extremely limited to VIPs and influential people I doubt that a new version would be any different, including its ridiculous price tag.

I would by a Porsche GT3 RS instead of the Mustang GTE and the GT really is a lovely show car… But a show car it is. There are better cars in a straight line and better cars around the track for far less money.

The arms on the wing seem to be that changing color type of paint? In one pic at one angle they appear black and then from the profile they look blue?

Also, is that an intake on the trunk lid?

This isn't midengine. It had tons of vents on the front fenders and hood, wouldn't make any sense if the engine isn't in the front

Not saying it is mid-engine but that statement makes zero sense. Just look at the 911 GT3 RS…
