I have had all of the under chassis boards out, the picture that was posted was from the 550. The 650 and the 550 are not the same, they are certainly very similar but there are differences for sure. An example would be the Jack point shown at the center of the K member. On the 550 they are MUCH beefier. There is no way I would consider jacking from that.

Why? Is there an issue with the S650 metal? Appears beefy enough.

That spot is not intended to be used to lift the weight of your vehicle.
I'm not saying you're wrong, but did Ford say that or is this personal preference/social media guesswork? I've owned 3 other mustangs and have always used that spot to lift the front end. Never had an issue. I'm here to learn, so if I was doing it wrong all those years or the S650 uses cheap chinese metal let me know.

Our cars were not intended to have nitrous or blowers either, yet...

Plenty of fellas in those two links did the same thing. Perhaps I should have said I use a scrap piece of 2x4 between the k member and jack as well. Like the fella Cobra Jet said in your link, "
Why not raise it by the center of the K?

It's not made from aluminum foil fellas... it's the strongest point in the front of the car. As long as the OP places a hydraulic jack center and is careful with jacking all should be well".

You and I will have to agree to disagree.

personally I'm trying to reduce weight on these pigs and jacking rails add weight. jack the car up next to the jack points and then lower onto the stand at the jack points
