For those that installed the rails did you reuse the original bolt in front side of car to mount the rails? Reason I ask cause I seen a post where a guy reused the original bolt while installing lift pucks and it snapped while torquing

Bought BMR rails before I had the car, then I saw that you had to cut panels and bought the ZL1 Addon clamp on the pinch weld lift points. Took five minuets to install.

Those are very nice but once you lift the car with a jack (and a pad of course) where do you put the jack stands to hold the car?

Valid point. Under the control arms or 4x4's two high on the pinch weld.. I use the 4x4s more than jack stands these days.

Anyone know how the tie downs work with these installed? I know they work with the sub frame brace, but cant find a for sure or not either way with the tie down kit.

1/4" thick, 2" wide, 12-3/8" long aluminum. Slots are 3/4" by 1" and they are 4-7/8" and 11-5/8" on center from the end. Easy to make if you don't want to spend $30.

I'm a bit confused by all the information here. Would love a 'plug and play' jacking rails solution.

Has anyone tried the Kenny Brown Performance jacking rails?

They're a bit more expensive, but look like they may have actually addressed the uneven installation issue without using spacers.
