My dark horse is not a daily driver so when I do take it out I just want listen to the loud rumble exhaust !!!

What are they charging you out the door? Did they suggest any other upgrades with the Whipple like oil pump gears?

I apologize you are right, Shelby doesn't replace opg's on stage 1 setups. I was researching the web and I thought I seen it somewhere but after digging much more into it they do not replace them.

I heard of steering rubbing on headers, one guy on here posted that he shaved of some of steering column to fix problem. Custom tune seem to solve error codes because of intake and headers.

Mostly on manual transmissions. If you order the new Shelby gt350 with the supercharger option they do change the oil gears as well. So if Shelby is aware of the issue I would change them as well.

Is your car auto or 6spd? Did you change the oil pump gears before whipple install?

I seen one video where the guy installed headers and made no dyno gains until the tuner installed a tune for it. Then other videos showing 30hp gains without a tune. It seems to be all over the place. Not sure who to trust .

What is the cost the shop quoted you for the install?

Ford recommends starting it every 15 days , running it till oil completely warms up and moving it about 25ft or so just to let the drive train lubricate after all oil completely drains of gears.

You Are not concerned about the oil pump gear shattering at high rpm from the vibration of the supercharger?

For those that installed the rails did you reuse the original bolt in front side of car to mount the rails? Reason I ask cause I seen a post where a guy reused the original bolt while installing lift pucks and it snapped while torquing
