Is the GT350 just a Dark Horse build?

Wow Ford lets Shelby American take the reins for the next GT350 release. Disappointing IMO and what base Mustang is Shelby using to make it into a GT350? IMO it’s just a modded Dark Horse……thoughts and I love mine with the Whipple. It’s more fun than my last GT500 cause it has a manual transmission
