I don't like K&N and the Price of the dry filters are more than I want to pay. Any real benefit on a daily driver ?

Your factory filters are fine for a daily driver. I only changed mine because I added a supercharger and it came with new ones.

@larietrope ..... I was told Wix made the air filters for Ford. If true that's a superb filter. No matter what you would be IMO waaaay better off to buy the Ford filters and change them more often than the much more expensive filters.

I think they are only half sufficient. That's why Ford gave us 2! :)

@kinelisch ..... FWIW here's what I do. First, I have only driven my Mustangs from April to November. I inspect them once in a while to see how many insects and dust have accumulated. I have put a shop vac on them mid summer to get rid of bugs and dirt. So far, I have replaced engine air filters once a year - usually under 7000 miles. This year I have about 5000 miles on my 2024 GT. The engine air induction filters are still pretty decent. I'll drive them for a month until the spring rains have washed the dust off the roads then install new ones. My long time experience with building car and marine engines is that the best, most cost effective and longevity "insurance policies" for engines is to change the oil (full synthetic), oil filter and engine air induction filters sooner rather than later. If it looks dirty it's gone. When we raced automotive and marine engines we changed the oil every day. Those days were Kendall and Wix.

Changed mine to Green Filters. So I could say I have done something on this thing.

If only there was some sort of book that contained this information. Some sort of manual for the owner. Nah, that would be too expensive for a multi-billion dollar company to print. :cwl:

The Ford recommended service interval is 30k miles.
