Same here with the manual and PP.Best I've gotten on highway is 22.6. I was surprised. My average is 14 to 18 mpg If I don't have my foot on it.

These are not the droids you are looking for…I managed to get 20.5 yesterday when I had an interstate trip by waiting until I was up to cruising speed, flipping on the cruise control at 83 mph and then resetting the mpg - it was at 20.5 when I arrived back home.
I was stopped by a nice Sheriff's Deputy on the return trip who said he clocked me at 72 mph in a . . . 55, 45? He wasn't sure. I assured him I had lived in the area for decades and that it was 55. He let me off with a warning.
That's what I get for not using the cruise control sometimes.
You can set the adaptive cruise control to not exceed the speed limit. It is quite possibly the most annoying feature anyone has ever put on a car. And using it automatically revokes your man card. That would drive me bonkers. I normally set it for 13-14 over the speed limit, which keeps one from getting tickets around here.
Well, in a way, that is what I do by using the cruise control. It's a neat option but, yeah, who sets a top speed for driving?
You must drive like I want to. Now, I'm embarrassed to say I get 17! GlennI think I get like... 8 or so.
Damn! If you're 5 or 6mph over the limit here, you're getting a ticket. 2 over on the interstate, which is already an 80mph limit, nets a roadside visit as well. The only upside to any of this is that the fines are dirt cheap. However, any ticket that earns you a single point on your license will be reported to your insurance company. That's an unfortunate rule they just changed within the last few years, it used to be that it had to be 3 points. That would drive me bonkers.
