So, this is not my first car... For some reason I've never had any issues using crappy dirty gas station squeegees...
Then fast-forward some time, all of a sudden I managed to get several scratches on my windshield. I must have done it when I was scraping bird poop with my fancy squeegee (which I've since thrown away). I found other scratches as well, which I suspect was caused by using a microfiber towel... again to remove bird poop. Bird poop often contains grit and sand, which can really scratch up your car btw. I actually had to buff out the scratches, it was that bad.
This squeegee is in the trash.
And I got this for going forward.
So going forward, as stupid as this question sounds:
How do I clean my windshield/side windows/mirrors with my own squeegee without causing any more damage? I'm not asking how to professionally clean a window... I want to know how to wipe off the bugs off the glass when I make a stop to get gas.
thanks...
