How to fix snapped stud in strut tower

How can I fix this? The stud snapped while trying to torquing down to spec...

I'm guessing it's a captive bolt? If so, I think cutting off flush, drilling out and a new bolt and nut would be the way to go. It's going to be a PIA.
BTW what's the torque figure?

41 lb.ft number is based on ford's installation instructions....The stud looks like it's welded in the back . The photo bellow shows how it is. Photo is taken from this thread https://www.mustang6g.com/forums/th...-brace-bolt-sheared-thread.81846/post-1887885

The guy just hammered it , others are drilling it to remove and they put a bolt there. Will have to reach out to them and ask them how exactly they did it. I'm planning to change my springs so there will be easier to work on that. Looks kinda trivial ..

41 ft lbs shouldn't have broken that. I bet it has been overtightened before.
You can drill right through the bolt head, not so sure about hammering it out though.

Regardless of what Ford Perf. Instructions say, I believe 41 ft-lb is too much. In comparison, cast/camber plate nuts get tq'd at around 22 ft-lb. But......I could be wrong........🤔
