@Grabber1 .... great install. Have I missed something in the thread. You have a 2024 Mustang GT - why didn't it come with the two braces?

@Grabber1 .... great install. Have I missed something in the thread. You have a 2024 Mustang GT - why didn't it come with the two braces?
I have a 2024 GT 301A package. You have to order the performance package to get the strut braces. However the GT did have a plastic 1/2 brace. This cool video shows taking the plastic brace off and putting the steel ones on. A fun video.

@Grabber1.....nope. I have the 2024 GT Premium Convertible with the 401A "high" package (no perf package) and both braces are heavy duty metal (exactly the same as yours) ..... right from the factory - I was only missing the logo on the strut brace and I purchased an awesome one from Anchor Room.......Maybe the convertibles come standard with the braces for extra body/strut stiffening. My 2014 convertible also came with the strut tower brace but not the second brace from the firewall to the strut towers. I must say the combination of the two brace units makes a triangular architecture that is a very potent stiffening/control apparatus.

I think he meant that you don't necessarily need to order the Performance Package to get the strut tower brace.

Looks like convertibles get them... and I think if you order 20" rims you get one, too, or maybe just the cowl brace? That was a weird one back in 2015 and we finally found out that the 20" rim option did get you more bracing.

Looks good I got mine on last week. Can for sure tell the difference

Noticed that the Steeda brace is only one part. So I’m guessing that they don’t think the extra cowl brace is needed.

@89Trooper and @Grabber1 .......yes, @89Trooper that is what I meant. @Grabber1 ....no way was I arguing with you and it would have been really cool if the dealer had ordered the PP for the Mustang I bought from them but they didn't. I was surprised to see both braces installed when I looked under the hood. The salesman couldn't explain so I assumed they were installed to combat increased body flex with the convertibles.

@Pouncer .... I agree. I know the 2014 and 2024 convertibles are waaay different animals. I had a strut tower brace on my 2014 and my friend who also had a 2014 and I agreed mine felt stiffer (ok here come the jokes ha ha). My 2024 with both braces feels even better, really planted compared to the 2014 which was pretty decent. If I bought the Steeda, which certainly looks robust and cool, I'd also buy the firewall to tower brace. I bet you can buy it as a separate piece.

It’s significantly beefier than the Ford brace so maybe not

I just installed the Steeda brace on my 24 GT. Had my doubts how well it would work but dag gum it was a night and day difference. I'd recommend it all day long to anyone. Easy install then down the road I went. Best mod I've done yet (other than the pull strap to close the trunk minus fingerprints!)

I have a vert with PP so mint came with the strut tower brace she rear cowl brace already installed. For this of you that didn't have them and added them, what benefits do you notice? Just curious how much they actually make a difference or not
