When I try to rev the engine in park or neutral, it only goes up to 4/5k rpm before the car violently shakes and won't go any higher rpms. I don't have this problem in drive. Is that normal??

At one point I was driving 200 miles a week in the GT for work. Some weeks that was one tank of gas. Others, like now, it tells me I'm getting 150 miles until empty.... with a full tank. And I don't drive that aggressive. I've seen others with better gas mileage stats but mine is pretty awful...
