How many Mustangs have owned?

I'm sentimental about my cars, so everytime I sell or trade one it's a hard choice. But I did learn a lot from that M1 experience. I learned not to buy a track car as a daily driver, and dont modify suspension (or buy a moded car) unless it's done all at once by a legitimate pro shop that will stand by their work. I also learned that manuals are truly awesome...in a second car.

Now that I know better, I'm considering getting an inexpensive manual car that I can track and beat on without stressing out over how pristine it is like I did with the M1.

I would do the same if I had room in the garage or driveway. I need Land!

Just the current one. I was pretty much a life long GM guy...........................until they took the bail out money. My last 3 cars (before the GT) were all Ford (Focus); SE/Sport, ST, & RS.

4, so far...

Learned to drive in ~1983 on a Fox Body. Not technically "mine" as owned by my parents, but I was the only one driving it most of the time. And yes, my high school comrades TP'd it on my birthday!

My husband picked me up for our first date in his Fox Body in 1988. Well... he tried to pick me up. He called me from a gas station two miles up the road and asked if I could come and get him, since his Mustang broke down! I forgave him, obviously! (No pictures of that one existing, afaik.)

Many years went by, and many cars (we did have a couple of Explorers in that time, 'cause our family is heavily Ford-leaning lol), and then I ordered a 2007 GT Premium. Got it in late 2006 and drove it for nearly 18 years, until I traded it in on my 2024. I LOVED that car, and I'm kinda sorry I didn't keep it, though there was no reason to, and nowhere logical to store it.

We also picked up a 2009 for my husband in late 2010; he was jealous of my 2007 and wanted one of his own. That one's gone now, but he's eyeing my 2024, saying we need to buy another for him... Maybe for his retirement present in 2028!

I'm really not interested in ever driving anything else. I didn't know it would end up this way, but the Mustang vibe just suits me. They're going to have to pull my keys out of my cold, dead hands. Mustang life forever!
