I wonder if the GT also has the same fake engine/exhaust sound playing through the speakers?

1) Does it?
2) Which speakers are used when having the B&O with subwoofer?
3) Can it be disabled and if, how? Especially on convertible

Would be really shocked if Ford had put it in a V8.

No, but it has active noise cancellation which produces frequencies to quiet the sounds you do hear.
You can unplug in the back headliner.

Do you know if the convertibles have this/where it can be unplugged?

lol... the have been doing it since 2015.
Just remove the noisemaker that connects to the firewall and cap it off.

So that ANC runs even with the audio off?... Seems this would also interfere with the audio clarity of music if that thing is literally putting noise in the speakers. Maybe removing it will make the B&O sound a little better.

The sound tube is a non electronic tube simply reaching from the inside of the car to the engine bay.
Nothing fake about it.

My question refers to sound electronically played through the hifi speakers.
Some cars have dedicated fake sound speakers which at least don't disturb the stereo system.

The Mustang convertible has microphones on either side of the rear near the small windows, and one near the map light up front. They're tied to the active noise cancelling system.

Your car doesn't play vroom-vroom noises through the speakers.

Seriously?! That is great news. I thought this was the 24 sound tube:

For those that don't know, this is the sound tube from 15-23:

That tube you marked is for the PVC as I recall - have to look under the hood of my car now but I think that is connected to my catch can.

I test drove a 24 yesterday and was surprised yet skeptical of the interior engine noise. I did a lot of research to find out the same question OP had. Looking at the spec sheets, both Ecoboost and GT are equipped with "electronic sound enhancement" which does appear to be engine sounds played through the speakers. Only saw this mentioned in a audio upgrade thread where someone had to disable it with forscan in a GT to resolve issues with their sound system upgrade. Any thoughts? Had anyone tried disabling this to see what difference it makes?

When I did my audio upgrades my audio tech said the 2024 GT did not have the electronic sounds coming through the speakers. At least the base model. No idea if it's any different in the B&O.
