GT shift lever shake

When my GT manual transmission when running at idle in neutral the shift lever has a slight shake to it. Is this normal? My dad has a 2018 GT and his does not display this.

Never rest your hand on the shifter except for changing gears. Per the manual.

Yeah, it shakes a little from the vibration from the transmission through the remote linkage in the stock shifter assembly. Shouldn’t be shaking violently though. I have the MGW shifter now which directly mounts to the transmission and you can really feel the vibration, which I like personally.

So no visible shaking of the shifter. Slight vibration from the engine if you put your hand on it. Otherwise it's quite steady.

Mine does it slightly. I noticed when I first got the car, but no more significant than other manuals I've had.
