I think I either ruined the car or it's a lemon. S650 GT vert with PP + Magnaride, and it felt rock solid. Until I took it on a roadtrip and 600 miles of bad highway the cowl shake was BAD. Now it drives like shit, even in normal mode, I've got no codes popping up but the Magnaride feels non existant, I feel every pothole and imperfection, and before that wasn't the case, and there is a bad rattling sound on the passenger side where the window meets the dash. Anybody know what I should be asking the dealership to look for and fix?? I love this car but now I'm thinking the coupe fastback was indeed the way to go... if I sell it back to the dealership I'm taking a 20k haircut on only 5000 miles, so any thoughts on how to get this fixed would be greatly appreciated. Bummed af to put it lightly.

What you're experiencing is fairly common for convertibles and open-top cars. Have you checked the torque on the sway bar and the front strut tower brace? for the front, it's 41 ft-lb. For the rear sway bar it is: sway bar to bracket: 52, sway bar end links: 85. Maybe during your road trip they shook loose.

Just an idea. If you have a torque wrench it's easy enough to check, especially the front tower brace.

Under warranty? Let the dealership chase down and fix the problems. If they cannot, depending on your State, multiple documented issues can invoke the lemon law.

Lemon law would honestly be my best option if they can't get the rattling noise to stop and fix the Magneride/make it drive the way it did. I don't want this issue blamed on me and it go nowhere and I'm stuck with the car or sell at a huge loss... Should I leave out the part about the 600 miles of bad road causing these issues when I bring it to the dealership?

@Adamrx11.....Tell the truth. Take it to the dealer and tell them that after a 600 mile road trip your car doesn't feel right. I have owned three Mustang convertibles, an MG, an Austin Healey 3000 and a TR6.....this never happened to any of them...... and they were on some pretty brutal roads. I'm thinking it's a couple of easy fixes: front end alignment, magneride adjustment, sway bar adjustment, bushing misalignment, front end control arms. I think you can get your ride back to how it was. If just the front end alignment is off a bit (likely in this case) the car will drive like crap. Wait for your dealership's reply.

It's under warranty take it to the dealer and let them figure it out, and demand a loaner 😉

It's under warranty. A 600 mile trip makes no difference. If it was 6,000 miles, it makes no difference. These problems you have are the reason a manufacturer issues a warranty. Glenn

I've also been having issues since I bought it that the car seems to jerk when accelerating and especially when braking mostly when I'm in sport and track mode while the exhaust burbles and pops. I know the exhaust noises are normal but Is it supposed to jerk when braking?
