Don't over think the stock wheels...as mentioned prior, you'll eventually purchase aftermarket rims. Stock wheels are cast, they're heavy, and the aftermarket makes some very nice width and fitment options. I ditched my PP wheels as soon as I was able...

Forget the wheels you can change that easily and to whatever you like even better than factory.

Whats not good in my unasked for opinion is the 7th gen without Active exhaust optioned. Boy, does that dual exhaust setup look goofy stock.

Just keep adding layers until it looks better.

Here is a great example of how deceptive these build sites are.

Here is a screen shot of a red metallic GT build with standard premium wheels

Now here is a real photo of the same car. Do you think that was a good representation of the actual wheels?

Exactly, And Ford has the audacity to call these "Shadow Silver" on top of it.

I have seen them in person on a grabber blue GT. They look absolutely horrible. I wonder who approved those for a premium GT. The base 18" wheels look much better compared to these.

So my 2024 GT Premium has been built already - but now I’m regretting my choice because those wheels are terrible. Unfortunately, I didn’t opt for the other wheel option but I didn’t think the standard wheels were this bad lol. Wonder if anyone else feels the same way.

I agree they are terrible, like a early 2000 Volvo wheel. They have so many other great choices though!

I am not sure what everybody is complaining about. They look so much better than the old steel rims that every car came with. They were so bad that cars came with wheel covers (some called them hubcaps) to hide them from the public. They even used white side walls draw attention from them.

Yeah, I remember the good ol’ days way back in 2020 when the Black Accent Package got you a really fine looking 19” wheel…

I hate them too. I trusted they would be quite a bit darker than they are when Ford called them "Shadow Silver." They almost look white they are so bright and I have a darker car on order so it's going to look even worse.
Ours on our atlas blue aren’t these. The ones on ours we really like

I think we have different wheels. I don't have the performance pack so I have the standard premium wheels and I optioned the Brembos. The wheels have grown on me though. Still a little bright for my liking but I think they look a lot better in person once your depth perception takes in the details of the finish and the curvature of the wheel. Good enough to use as a winter wheel and to keep using until I find something I like more.

Nope, those are the standard wheels as seen in the bottom picture.

I just went to look at a GT Premium yesterday. The wheels weren't nearly as bad as I was expecting.

Agree. First time seeing them yesterday and what you said is totally correct. In photos you just see a flat wheel. In person you see the depth, and the groved surfaces. Definitely a different (and improved) experience in the real world. Are they still a bit too bright for me, yeah a little.
