I recently purchased my '26 Mustang GT and always noticed that the hood does not perfectly align with the front bumper. I've recently read that there are rubber knobs that can be turned to adjust this. Is this true and is it something I could try to do myself? My luck I'll probably make it worse. Thank you for any thoughts on this issue.

Thank you
Reading the comments it doesn't sound like anything I want to fool with for my specific issue because it's not fluttering at high speeds or anything like that. It just looks off. It's really no big deal and I could certainly live with it But thank you anyway.

At the corners there is usually a rubber stop that sets the position/fit against the fenders in the front. In the back it is done by adjustint the position of the hood hing, in the center of te hood along the bumper cover your hood latch night need a little up or down adjustment to get the center section right.

You could turn the driver side rubber stopper out a little more (make it slightly longer). But if it's not fluttering you're fine. The fit and finish on these Mustangs is honestly horrible (I've bought 4 brand new S650s so far, each one had various small-to-moderate quality issues). That is to say your car looks pretty good, definitely don't expect a perfect example. I'm that ultra-picky uber-perfectionist guy and have walked the lots looking at tons of Mustangs (at the nation's largest volume Mustang dealer for example) and if they didn't have minor quality/fitment issues, they had lot damage from the porters scraping the cars into each other, door dings, new cars keyed up and repaired poorly, etc. Drives me nuts to the point I don't even want to own cars anymore, just rent them so I don't have to care about them, but that's my own issue
