why would you leave the bellypan off? It's there for a reason, unless you know more than Ford what your car needs or doesn't need.did you have him replace the belly pan or leave it off? any rattles, squeaks, tics afterward? looks like a good way to go

You have clearly never watched the video showing the underbody airflow that generated real downforce using the underbody and strakesbelly pan's been off for a year, temp and all gauge readings normal, car handles fine at least to 120 (as did my 2007 GT without a belly pan), satisfied with 21 avg mpg, can't think of what else it would be there for. otherwise its just a pain
