Maybe we will see the Lincoln version. Massaging seats, full leather 127 way seats, panoramic roof, and a LOT more accent lighting.
Lincoln design team must have been a bunch of wimps not to get the V8 in the conti. Would have been a serious rival to the euro trash market. :)

I'm thinking a redesign with a more spacious backseat.

I think it is to keep from smashing the front spoiler into a curb. I made sure my wife is aware, and she is very careful with it when she drives the car. My front spoiler is only about 4 inches or so off the ground (DH HP).
Thank you. It's a convenience feature. The car has a front-facing camera for lane center assist so just give us one that we can look at the curbs with. My other vehicles have it. The DH is not an economy car. Nothing is standard in CA. Parking block heights vary from place to place. Some slots are wide, some too narrow, etc.

Why does everyone want a front camera?
Because we've become dependent on cameras to perform simple parking tasks now. Its almost as if the S650 was the first car made with a long hood in the last 50 years lol.

I joke a little on that. The answer is that its become a common convenience feature, and people need stuff to bitch about. Do we need it? - no. Would it be nice to have? -yes.
