Custom mode not working!

Hey guys, 750km on the odometer. Didn’t drive the car for one day, and now my custom mode isn’t working. Every other mode works though and car drives normal.
did anyone have any fixes for this or should I let it sit overnight?

What happens is when I go to put the car in custom mode it says “drive mode not available” and in my Mustang menu it doesn’t even show up to customize…

for some reason, this seems to a random issue that fixes itself. i had it myself, but it went away after i did an SCCM self-test. @Bluember24 had this issue and brought it to my dealer, but it went away on its own and the tech never saw the issue

I had this on the S550 after overheating the trans, mid summer, on a long roadtrip, with me beeing stupid pushing the car to the limits when it was already super hot outside. After 1 day rest, the car was absolutely fine. I even had the yellow wrench on the dash at a certain moment. I guess the car went on limp mode to protect itself. Just let your car rest and see if it resets on yours too.

That is strange. I had my custom profile reset once after an OTA update but it took me all of 5 seconds to make my new one again. I wonder if disconnecting-reconnecting the battery would solve the issue. I’m not saying to do so however lol. I would just swing it by a service center or if you know a tech ask them. Seems like an easy fix.

Ah ok, ya my car was only sitting for 2 hours today, and it still didn’t work so hopefully overnight!

Mine did this, I shut down, restarted the car and did the screen reset, all good.

I realized early on, this car hates a battery that is not fully charged. Keep mine on a tender year round when not in use and have had zero issues since

Just got mine fixed! Just let it sit for awhile! Definitely going to keep it on a tender all winter long

Either let it sit, or reboot the system.

Mine did the same thing for a couple of weeks and then went back to working with the previous chosen custom settings in tact.

weird thing is i had this happen to me yesterday on my way into work. it just disappeared. a couple hours later, i went back and started it and it was back. technology is weird, man...
