Considering a 2026 Custom Order

Anyone have a good guess as to the cost to have a quality shop paint legitimate racing stripes?

I'm a painter and I'd recommend against painting the stripes. Find a good vinyl wrap shop and have them do what you want. They all have software that can show you what it will look like when done.
I'd also mention that the S650 looks best in darker colors due to the big black lip at the bottom of the grill and the ridiculously huge fake brake vents. Darker colors tend to hide these styling miscues. Carbonized grey is my personal favorite for this car- easy to maintain (compared to Black) and blends well with the lip and vents.

Hey 25 Raptor. Do the new colors include Royal Crimson? Have an '18 GT in RC and have held on to it because that color hasn't been offered since '18. Still get compliments on it after 7 years!! Enjoy your DH!!

No Royal Crimson... still holding on to my 2018 in RC too... would love a S650 to match!

For the fun of it, I tried to replicate the general look of the Iconic Silver GT350 -- why do the stripe options suck so bad?

I chose this option with the nite pony package. My guess would be that the stripes suck so bad to differentiate this from the GT350. Can't have a regular GT looking like a GT350. Might upset the GT350 guys. I've gotten used to the weird two tone stripes to the point that I actually like them. I mean, I ordered them so I might as well like them....

Not sure if you ordered the car already, but I'm adding the anti-theft package to my order. It will pay itself back (and then some) in a few years due to the insurance discounts. Also, you mentioned you're not big on spoilers, but consider the Wedge Decklid Spoiler for $325. It looks really neat.

I happen to like yellow but I realize it is a polarizing color... Still, 14k off sticker!

I put 48k on my 2022 Ecoboost premium convertible and have 12k on my 2025 Gat premium convertible. I had one software update on my 22 and the possible water intrusion of the BCM (none and my dealer did a great job with the recall). Great cars. A dozen recalls on recent Mustangs? Candidly, this is overstated unless you are looking to NOT purchase a great car!
