Mine has been at twin oaks for a week and 2 days, today my dealer called me and said its being delivered today. I will be picking up on Wednesday due to work stuff tomorrow.

fords tracker has shown 9/4-9/19 since it shipped on 8/24, got to ramp 5m in twin oaks on 9/3, ford chat kept saying eta was 9/7-9/13, but now ford chat gave me a united road convoy number and said the arrival date will be 9/15. if twin oaks is 3 hours from my dealer and its on a convoy and not a the twin oaks ramp anymore, how will 3 hours take 5 days?

Because if your dealer was like mine they are letting it sit there until the other vehicles they have coming in arrive. When they get there they will pick up a truckload instead of just one or two.

Funny you post this, my dealer said same bs to me today, he then proceeded to tell me to quit calling and texting him, they will let me know when it comes in. These dealers are pieces of work man. BTW - I’m still waiting for my train to pick up my car in new Boston ramp.

The dealer don’t care at all. They’re about making sales, nothing more. As far as they’re concerned you’re a done deal. They’re too busy working and lying to future buyers. If you don’t take delivery they’ll just mark it up to the next person.

That’s how they did me. I waited 3 days. The rail yard was only an hour away from dealership. They brought a full hauler, not all Mustangs were on it.

yeah i mean that makes sense, i just didnt understand why ford chat gave me a united road truck tracking number when its still 5 days away as if it was on that truck already. thanks for the insight tho!

You’ll get it soon. Do yourself a solid and do a very thorough walk around the car looking for damage. I found damage on my driver door, driver mirror, front bumper cover and passenger rear quarter panel. I’ll find out this evening when I stop in when they’re going to schedule it for the repairs Good luck!

My car went through PDI today and my tracker finally updated to final prep even though my car was on the lot 09/09. Seems like the tracker will stay on shipped until PDI is started.

I figure mine will sit at Ramp 5 in new boston for a week or more. I don’t expect car until October. If it comes early great, if not oh well. This whole experience has taken the wind out of my sail. All in I think it’s taken back2gas about 2-3 weeks? My financing good for 90 days.
