Some words of wisdom:

Don’t kill yourself. Don’t contribute to the Cars and Coffee crash stereotype either.

The problem with being 15 years old is at that age you don’t understand consequences and lack life experience.

Go out and have some fun…but be smart about it, so you don’t end up making an irreversible decision…

A 500HP V8 rear wheel drive car of any kind, can lead to very fun times and memories but can also lead to fatal mistakes … no different than alcohol frankly.

Heed the warning…. Be smart and have fun.

Congrats and welcome! Don't let your driving enthusiasm overload your ...............................well; I'm sure you can figure out the rest................................and you'll do fine! 👍

My first car (1970) was a '69 Nova 4 spd SS396. Sold it after 6 weeks; couldn't afford the gas (Sunoco 260) for it [approx 9 MPG---may have been related to "my driving enthusiasm" 🤔].

BTW: The Nova had traction control too! It was on the end of my right leg.

Congrats on the new Mustang! How lucky you are at the ripe ole age of 15 to be driving a 480HP rear wheel drive car as your first car to learn on and how irresponsible of your parents to allow you to do it.
Don't get me wrong.... I'm not trying to insult you or your parents BUT a new V8 Mustang is not something that a new driver should be learning how to drive on. Things can get real squirrelly real fast if you're not careful and being a young inexperienced driver just makes for a bad recipe for something horrible to happen. Please be careful and resist the urge to do anything stupid that could potentially get you or someone else hurt. Just my opinion...

Hey everyone! Earlier this year in April I picked up a 2024 Mustang GT Premium in Shadow Black with the 10-speed. I’m still learning a lot, but I’ve already fallen in love with driving and the whole car scene.

So far I’ve had the windows tinted (50% windshield, limo tint all around) and added an MBRP X-pipe. I’m planning to get a Dark Horse-style spoiler with the Gurney flap next. Just taking things slow and building it piece by piece.

Glad to be here and looking forward to learning from you all and seeing what everyone’s working on!

PS- wide open parking lot the first time it rains.....go there and have a little fun and see how the car reacts on wet roads ......its the best way to learn.....these cars will call you in the wet ....so be extra careful.....

My recommendation is to go to Radford driving and racing school in Scottsdale AZ. Learn to drive the car and have safe fun! Keep your racing on the track!

My parents do help with the monthly payment and insurance on the car, its about 50/50. However, gas, maintenance, aftermarket parts, literally ANYTHING except for the monthly payment and insurance I'm all by myself. I work 2 jobs to be able to afford my end.

Also thanks for the suggestion!

This is sad, that you have to "correct" a 15-year old kid like that.

Many adults in the USA finance the vehicle and they use the same wordings, while the car is not theirs but from the bank.

So I don't understand why you never corrected the adults when they said that they picked up their car while it's not theirs.

But I do understand why, you don't even own a S650 while this 15 year old kid does.
