My parents do help with the monthly payment and insurance on the car, its about 50/50. However, gas, maintenance, aftermarket parts, literally ANYTHING except for the monthly payment and insurance I'm all by myself. I work 2 jobs to be able to afford my end.

Also thanks for the suggestion!
Wait.... you work TWO jobs?! At the age of 15? If I may ask, what two jobs are those? ....and do you work two jobs while you are in school as well? Since your parents are making the monthly payments on the car and insurance that really makes the car theirs and not yours.... they are just letting you drive it. Correct?! Whose name(s) are on the loan paperwork? I didn't know that a 15yr old could get a loan since at that age you are not allowed to work a full time job. and what lending institution would give a loan to a 15 year old, parents co-signing or not. My BS meter is starting to buzz.........

Lighten up Francis.... but since you asked....
100K+, Virginia, IT Professional... What else do you need?
Forgive me for being skeptical, but the OP (a 15 year old) started the thread by saying, "That I recently picked up...." and upon reading more details about him that HE provided, it sounds like his parents are the owners of the car not him; but he is leading us to believe it is HIS car...
It just sounds a little more believable when I say that I recently bought a Mustang (because I can afford it) than hearing a 15 year old say it....
again.... just my opinion.

You only own something if you paid it off. So with this theory not only this kid isn't owning anything, but most of the people here who finance their cars.

Is it a crime for parents to buy their kid a car? And who the fuck cares who paid for it? Why do you feel the need to troll a 15 year old? Jesus man.

You got a camera as a birthday present from your neighbor and go on vacation and make pictures with it. You go on a forum for photographers and talk abot the camera.

Are you going to say "my camera" or "the camera that your neighbor paid for"?

People here are butt hurt. Probably they got a bad childhood and they can't be happy for somebody else. They feel the need to correct him and let him know that the car isn't his because he didn't pay for it.

Hey kid, welcome to adulthood, as you can see, not everyone has it completely figured out.

Jeez.... a lot of panties getting ruffled here. Didn't realize this would have the "triggering" effect that it is apparently having.
You're missing the point though.
The OP is, in a round about way, trying to get us to believe he is the owner of the car and drives it. My point is, after reading more about what HE said and exercising a little commonsense, that it is not his car, but his parents and they may or may not just let him drive it. I'm thinking to myself, what responsible parent would let their 15 year old, Learners permit holding son learn to drive on a 480+ HP Mustang. I wouldn't do that. Me asking about loan information and employment is an attempt to point out that the car probably belongs to his parents as he doesn't have the income nor is of age to secure financing for a 55k+ vehicle. That is all. Calm yourself....

You don't own the car either if you finance it.

lol , this thread is funny. I am more shocked a 15 year old knows who Rambo is , than some uber rich people buying their 15 year old kid a Mustang.

I grew up in a small town in Wisconsin , but I remember a brother and sister in high school (circa 96) who's parents owned a very successful trucking company. She drove a BRAND NEW Mustang , and he drove a BRAND NEW ford Powerstoke F-350. So Ya , it happens.

Nope, this is not a troll post. I am 100% serious. Also I drove a bit at night and its not bad out the windshield, its a bit harder on the side windows but still not an issue.
Well, that kind of tint is an automatic ticket here, and may even get your car towed somewhere where that dangerous addition can be removed….let’s see what we really have here:
1. 15 years old new driver with
2. Nearly 500 HP with
3. Windows he can barely see out of after dusk….

I only hope that parents can deal with the outcome here….my prayers are for your light foot on the right pedal and a real discernment on behalf of this driver…

I know who Rambo is but it's not why it's my username. My last name is Rambo and I thought Rambo5.0h sounded cool.
