How can you tell if you have the B&O Sound System? On some screens I see it at start up but on others it does not show up. It says on the window sticker that it's there at no charge. Have the subwoofer so is that how you tell?

I think the only way to get it is with the 401A package.

Yes, If you see "Designed by B&O" on your center screen at startup then you have the B&O sound system. Another way to tell is you have the trunk mounted subwoofer, yes.

It is standard on the Dark Horse, included in the premium high packages, but can also be added independently when you order (depending on trim).

Another way to tell is by looking on the top of the dash the center speaker will have a little B&O emblem.

Dark Horses all have B&O system standard I believe.

Turn on the sound system, if it sounds like shit... you have the B&O. For $1K, Sad but true.

No regrets, Love my GT, and spend most of the time with the radio off anyway

symptoms
With the 401-A package you get the subwoofer in the trunk.
Also Ford advertises 12 speakers, but as it turns out the speakers are one speaker times two.
So the you get 10 , physical speakers, counting the subwoofer, and two of the speakers counts as 2 way?
Anyway, it is what it is and I’m gonna stop this nonsense cause I don’t know what the hell I’m talking about.
The 2025 Mustang dropped the 12 Speaker in the 401-A Package. But charge is $995 for the 12 speakers, but the automatic transmission is complementary at no charge.
I believe what I said is true.
this doesn’t represent union or management

Just FYI, dual cone speakers have been considered “two way” for decades. Nothing new.
Agreed, though when Ford/B&O specifically counts them as individual speakers, is more misleading marketing bullshit, especially since they sound like shit.

For additional clarity, the speakers behind the back seat are considered tweeters and woofers... so that's how B&O and/or Ford got '12' speakers. See attachment.
