Available Summer 2023?

How are we supposed to take “available summer 2023”? Available to order then? Ford (and everyone else) is extremely behind, and even more so with speciality vehicles. My friends raptor just showed up, 10+ months after ordering.

For the first batch of cars to arrive by summer, I’d think they would have to open orders in the next couple months? That seems too soon/good to be true.

Someone enlighten me.

Available usually means in hand. So the first deliveries will start appearing in the summer, with the banks open a few months prior.

According to the 2023 order guide, Mach 1 Handling package job starts March 2023. Does that mean it's going to be early summer before 2024 production begins at the earliest?
