Thanks for that info. Seems Ford logistics really is that unorganized. I just would have expected better from one of the largest corporations in the world. Call me crazy!

Maybe someone can help me. When I got this from my dealer last week, I read it as being produced and sent to Ramp 51. Now today, I’m told that it is just in the middle of production probably waiting for a part or something. I think she is blowing smoke making things up. Am I wrong?

The stuff you’re running into seems like a Ford logistics issue if they’re still figuring out if it is in production or not. I was told by chat and dealer that my car was released for shipment so I think my issue is with the third party shipping company not moving the cars FIFO.

One thing I learned investigating this is my car’s destination rail yard isn’t the big one in Atlanta (Hapeville) but the smaller one that is 8 miles from my house. The dealership is 12 miles in the other direction and they told me the cars come quick once they get to that smaller rail yard. Here’s to hoping that is true….once it actually gets on a train.

Update: Officially, according to the Ford tracker, my car is still officially “In Production” with no date, but my salesperson sent me an email a few minutes ago. Not sure what happened from 10/13 til today, but my car is on a train!! HALLELUJAH.

Update of updates: Now I know why I don’t have an in production date and why my tracker was completely disconnected to what I was getting from my salesperson. My car is NOT built or in production nor do I know when it will really begin build. My blend date is useless. I really have had some type of supply chain delay. No one knows when my car will actually be built or shipped.

My salesperson has been sending me the wrong screenshots for the last MONTH. Someone else’s car that was scheduled for the same week as mine has been loaded onto a rail car as of this morning, NOT MINE.

Boy, do I feel like a dope.

Oh, I’m a little bit more than a little pissed! Lucky she’s been extremely nice otherwise I’d be telling her and the dealership all where to go!

I’m considering a Vapor blue car she found at another dealer, but I wouldn’t get the X-plan price. It was my 2nd choice in color after the DMG I ordered and it has everything else I wanted. I’ve also looked around to see if I can find a Ember Blue DH that is on a lot somewhere, and have actually found a few “only” $5k over MSRP and even one that is AT MSRP so I’m mulling my options.

EDIT: My tracker updated TODAY to show an actual date next to "In production" so we'll see how long it will take now that they actually started build.

That is the normal tracker. "Vin View" is only available to dealers. Not sure which one Back2Gas was wanting.

Feel like I’ve been around the world and back the last couple or three weeks, but it looks like my car is actually built for real. Went into production yesterday after a month delay, and per chat tonight, my secondary status is produced with an ETA of 6/22 - 6/28

In production seems to have a broad range of time frames. Some are in production for one day then built the next. Others are in production for a several weeks before showing built. Wondering what the reason is. My car went into production last Thursday. Still in production today.

Built on 10/29/2023 and now I wait for a Shipped. Anyone with experience on the length of time from built to shipped? I'm on Long Island NY and got to figure it is a heavy trafficked route? How do you find out more details? The Ford chat only said it is built and waits shipment.. Thanks

From what I’ve seen, it’s kind of all over the place. I’ve seen some ship the day after being built and delivered to Florida within 10 days. I’ve also seen some much closer sit for a month. Mine supposedly finished build on 11/7 but that isn’t reflected in my tracker. The only way I’ve seen to get more information is your dealer. I will let you know how mine progresses. I’m sure others will chime in as well.
