Looks great! I have looked at adding those rims and the LED intakes to mine but isn't quite in the budget yet. I'm not planning on going the full RTR tribute route, but seeing these added to your build makes it pretty close to sealing the deal for me once I can afford it.
I love the LED intakes...
Hoping for some insight from real people instead of Copilot or Gemini. I currently have stock PP wheels on my GT with Magneride and need new tires as I have pushed my luck to 29k miles on the set that came on my car two years ago. I am thinking of this opportunity to upgrade to 19" SM-10 Apex...
Agreed. That was much more helpful than I could possibly have been.
I got PPF and ceramic from Apex Auto shield back in March and was very happy with their prices and customer service is off the charts. If you decide to give them a call, ask for Andrew. Good luck.
I personally like the black plates in Texas of which there are several to choose. I was limited on mine since I got DV plates, so I had to go with white. But, if the choice is between the 3 pictured, I'd go with C.
I did have a dash cam installed by my dealership, so it could be from that. I may have to bring it back to them to take a look at it. I definitely would have expected there to be a panel of some sort holding in the wiring.
Anyone know if that metal bracket there is supposed to holding something...
Has anyone had an issue with loose wires falling out from under the dash. These keep falling down near the clutch. I canāt figure out where these are supposed to be supported. Seems like maybe there should be a panel there.
Anyone have experience with Icon Rocklear coating? I made the mistake of not getting PPF and Ceramic coating last December when I took delivery and now I have several rock chips on my hood. I canāt really afford PPF and ceramic right now, and Rocklear claims to be more durable and provides more...
āš» Guilty. I would have been fine if it wasnāt titanium, but I am a fan of the color and feel of it when it isnāt 30 degrees and my car hasnāt warmed up yet! š This isnāt the best picture but it looks pretty good with my interior lighting.
Congrats. Let the fun begin!
I get my baby back from the body shop tomorrow, more than two months after being wrecked. Still sad about that, but she looks good as new and I canāt wait to drive her again!
From my own experience, some changes can be made after getting a VIN and a build date. I added Recaro seats a month after getting my VIN and a build date, but they rejected my request to change my hood stripes. However, I doubt they would allow a major change like the transmission. Itās worth...
I am 6' 210 with broad shoulders and while they are extremely snug, I love mine and have no problems getting in and out. Now, I would have LOVED it if they had climate control, but for me at least, they are worth it even without it. I daily mine and have had no problems at all with them.
